How Long Would It Take Sausages To Thaw?

Two Moons.

.
"The end of the world is a mental state"
Lars Von Trier.
.
I.

say the world ends. Falling off the aircraft. That opens the earth. Buildings to collapse.

talked about the year 1000, 2000, 2012. But the truth is that the end of the world is a different state: a stalemate.

Just today, for example, while walking, I could clearly see a strange phenomenon: there were two moons. In different parts of the sky, but were certainly two moons. As dawn. Two moons.

For a moment I thought of telling people I was walking, or the man in the grocery business, which was making the posters, or the guys who got out of their vehicles to fight because neither had decided to fold time on a curve.

-Stop-I have said, "there are two moons.

But I did, of course.

the end, people kept walking. The grocery business man took out his posters. And the men of the vehicles screamed and threatened, but not beaten, finally.

Finally, or as a start, finished the sun. And lost over the horizon moon, and then another.

II.

so happened that after sunrise, I came to where I hope the bus that takes me to work.

The same fate, almost the same time and next, the same lady who wait here every morning and never know what you expect, it always remains in place after I go.

"Today I saw two moons," I say then, without thinking.

- Two moons?

"Yes, I repeat. Two moons.

Then I explain the parts of the sky where I saw, and she listens attentively and to move a little to see I indicated position.

Just then a guy came by bicycle, following the movement of the woman, hits her and throws her to the floor.

Moreover, while it was my group.

And yes, I admit I am not a hero, so while the bike down to meet the lady, I climb into society without looking back.

III.

- What are you reading today? Then she asks the driver, as usual.

"To a Japanese," I say, Tanizaki ... It is a book about two moons, I lie.

- Two moons?

"Yes. Two moons. A type either wake up one day and sees two moons, but let it go.

- Do let it go?

"Yes. That is, seen and not tell anyone, then quit dawn, and the windows are gone.

"But then do not let go, but were instead," says the driver.

"Same thing," he replied.

Then we drove in silence until the end of the tour.

"It's not the same," he says at the end, when we arrived and I was under the vehicle.

IV.

I did not go to school.

words, someone just came to me, but I did not go.

who had entered school, of course (because they pretended well). Some argue that how we think right, and another on the city as a symbol of contempt for the man to the idea of \u200b\u200bGod (both kinds crap).

I, however, I was reading the book of Tanizaki. This variation was talking about the man who saw two moons and let go.

In the story, let them go after the man was almost as if the world came to an end. Not the world as the space or around him, of course, but the world as the overwhelming significance that we have and what we believe without having to ask that we believe in something.

He then lived a long time thinking that meaning had been denied, or as if a strand of her clothes had been engaged as he walked, and had unwittingly ended up being naked.

Thus, the man was older, until one day before he died, he returns to see the two moons, and sadness overwhelms him and mourn him long ago, he feels that that image is almost part of it, though he had never managed to understand, and I was late for it.

Thus, in the last chapter, Tanizaki describes man crying because in the end he senses that what he left to go was more than these two moons. With this, and the closing of history, the man who cried for the moon happens then to mourn for his life (Because let it go).

And yes, we could conclude by saying that crying gives the impression of being bitter, and slow and can not be at a specific time.

Sure ... like the end of the world.

Or so.

Or simply, as the end.
